Gateway Bank was chartered in Pennsylvania and is FDIC insured and regulated. Gateway was created to offer customers an innovative approach to local, personal banking built on traditional values. Gateway opened for business on May 11, 2004. If you measure us by our employee experience and community ties, we’ve been around a long time. In fact, our senior management team has over 100+ years of combined experience, while our entire staff has 200+ years of banking knowledge.

Gateway has chosen not to follow in the footsteps of large conglomerate financial institutions that have simply converted customers and their accounts to mere numbers. We care about customers and will build relationships.

Gateway Bank is a locally owned, staffed, managed, and community-oriented financial institution serving the needs of individual consumers, professionals, and small to mid-sized business and their owners. More importantly, we provide an alternative to what we believe is the less personal and less responsive service now provided by larger banks.
